The Scene-stealing Squirrel

After reaching international recognition with his surprise appearance in Melissa Brandts’ holiday snap, lakeside in a national park in Canada, this scene-stealing squirrel has been popping up all over the place.

Somehow nobody noticed the cheeky critter sneak into shots from Barack Obama’s innauguration.

Apparently he was close to the Beatles during their Seargent Pepper days….

…many call him the fifth Beatle….

…but he’s been closely linked to other musicians too…

…rumour has it, that as a close personal aide to the King of Pop, the squirrel was responsible for the Moonwalk…

Charles and Diana were nuts to let the little fellow anywhere near their wedding procession….

…he always has a way of spoiling the moment…

…though some might argue he’s improved bad photographs.

Nobody is quite sure how the tiny attention-seeker’s managed to be at the right place, at the right time, so often…

…how he’s managed to steal the show, without being noticed, time and time again…

…and made every single one a masterpiece.
